The waterproofing caulking at the front edge of the battery where the battery case meets controller box case on some batteries has likely expanded a bit during curing and shipping. Making it hard to push the battery all the way in and lock it down. If your battery doesn’t go all the way into the controller box or if you cannot lock down your battery due to the expanded caulking at the front edge of the battery case, there’s a simple way to fix it.
You only need about 1mm of caulking to provide a tighter seal against rain etc. So you can actually tape out 1mm of caulking with some masking tape and trim off the excess caulking with a sharp razor blade or matte knife.

If you ordered and paid for your bike or any accessories, we WILL deliver your order. We are focus on delivering the bikes first, so there might be some delays in your accessories but we guarantee you'll get them!
Contrary to what some people have been speculating MOAR is here to stay.

Hi Team:
Because lithium batteries are "Dangerous Goods". There are places where the local regulations or shipping restrictions dictate our shipping the batteries separately from the bike.
These include South Korea, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico and Puerto Rico. If you live in one of these area, you will be receiving a bike with a charger and everything else but no battery. Don't panic, your battery will be coming soon.

The latest Europe shipment has been delayed because of a paperwork mix-up for the battery, Dangerous Goods requires very specific certifications etc. That has been ironed out and shipping will resume from Shenzhen on the first available "Dangerous Goods Container".
